For as long as I can remember, I have eagerly anticipated the day when I would get my first chance to run for political office, and today is that day. With the passing of my 24th birthday this past Monday, I have decided that now is as good a time as any to throw my hat into the ring, as never before have I felt so strongly that our country’s leadership has lost sight of what is important, the future of America and the prosperity of generations to come, particularly those who are still too young to have a voice. Over the next few days I hope to outline my strategy and positions on the important issues of the day, so please check back regularly and I hope you are encouraged by what I have to say. The future of America is at stake, and the 21st century demands leaders who truly understand the modern world and all the challenges it presents.

I am very grateful for your kind offer to help me with my campaign and I would like to take you up on it. I am very familiar with your work, as you are one of the most dedicated users of GOPhub.com, and I had tried to apply to be your Illinois ambassador for Grizzly Groundswell, but when I tried to find out where to submit my info I noticed that you had already extended an invitation to an Illinois blogger. I did not know Stix was an Illinois resident, so if you could put me in touch with him I would greatly appreciate that. I would also love the opportunity to contribute to Grizzly, if you would like to have me, so please let me know what type of submissions you are looking for.
I am young and ambitious, and I think I can do great things in politics. I am not the most socially conservative Republican, but I am certain that we are on the same page on fiscal issues and government theory. I would like to discuss with you these issues in more depth and I would also like to get your advice on how to best manage my eCampaign. Other than that, I could really use some foot soldiers in the Illinois 9th District to help collect signatures to make sure I get on the ballot. I don’t need too many more, but I want to get that done with asap, as opposed to waiting to the last minute. If you know anyone in the area please let me know, but if not don’t worry about it.
